A reader asked me to give her some suggestions about job board software they could download and customize as their own. Here’s my top picks. I don’t have a favorite among these but compare them all before you buy. These are all self hosted options.

I would not suggest to start a new project with Jamit at the moment.
The lead developer has been unresponsive for a while and the whole community around it is pretty unhappy.
The software itself is very powerful and solid, but it’s now old and I don’t see any future.
I’d like to hear comments about the other alternatives.
