I was chatting with a sales rep from Jobcase, the popular job market for hourly workers and he told me something interesting. They are doing 500 virtual event per week!
Considering that last year they only did 2000 total, you can see why that’s a massive increase.
Holding your own virtual job fair offers a number of advantages for a job board. It’s a new revenue stream that you can charge employers for which lets you add to your product offerings. It makes the most send for niches that have a lot of remote jobs.
Were I still running Jobmote, a remote job board I sold a few years back, I might be holding a monthly virtual job fair for remote roles.
You can easily pull off a virtual fair with a tool like Zoom but if you want more options just take a peek at other virtual job fair platforms.
IDEA: why not create something like remotejobfairs.com (its available) and use remote job fair events to build a job board for remote listings? Might just work.
