Interview Spotlight: Dylan Stanke from EasyrJobs.com
In a recent conversation, Dylan Stanke, a 2025 graduate from the University of Louisville, shared the origin story and rapid growth of his new job board, EasyrJobs.com. Launched just six weeks ago, the platform aims to solve the frustrations many new graduates face in a deceptive and overcrowded job market.
The Motivation: Solving the “Ghost Job” Epidemic
After graduating with a degree in economics, Dylan found himself in a “dark space” applying for jobs that didn’t actually exist. He observed several predatory practices in the industry:
- “Spray and Pray” Tactics: Companies posting jobs in locations where they don’t have physical offices just to collect resumes.
- Pay-Per-Click Incentives: Platforms keeping filled positions open to continue generating invoiceable clicks.
- Entry-Level Surplus: A market where qualified professionals are being laid off and competing for the same entry-level roles as new grads.
“I just remember one evening I told my parents, I need to build something, not just for me, but something that can scale and be for others as well.”
What Makes EasierJobs “Easier”?
Dylan describes himself as a “vibe coder,” using AI tools to wireframe and prototype the site’s clean UI/UX while maintaining a hands-on approach to data. The site’s core value proposition is Verified Job Listings.
Unlike major aggregators, Dylan uses a rigorous verification process:
- ATS Verification: Checking the Applicant Tracking System to ensure the job is still active on the company’s official career page.
- Direct Outreach: Contacting recruiting managers via email or phone to confirm the role exists.
- Hyper-Local Focus: Currently serving the Nashville, Bowling Green, and Louisville markets.
- Zero Clutter: The site removes lengthy descriptions in favor of a “Lead Gen” style, showing only the title, salary, and a direct link to the employer’s site.
Early Success and Growth
Despite its recent launch, the platform is already seeing significant engagement:
- Traffic: Approximately 3.5K users so far, with projections to hit 10K by the end of summer.
- Engagement: Users spend an average of four minutes on the site with a low bounce rate of 30-35%.
- Social Reach: Over 45K total impressions across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Looking Ahead: Scaling and Sustainability
While Dylan currently manages the site manually, checking listings twice daily, he is exploring ways to scale through human-centric growth—potentially hiring local “general managers” for specific cities rather than over-relying on AI.
Though he hasn’t hit his first revenue milestone yet, he remains committed to a $39 featured listing fee and is considering a monthly subscription model for unlimited postings to attract local chains. His ultimate goal is to secure venture capital as the platform expands its footprint.
