Startup job market Wellfound (formerly AngelList Talent) has officially announced the acquisition of Hirefly, an agentic recruiting platform designed to automate the most time-consuming parts of the talent search.
What is Hirefly? Hirefly is known for its “agentic” AI—technology that doesn’t just provide data but actively executes tasks. Its platform automates two critical workflows:
- Outbound Sourcing: Proactively identifying and reaching out to the right candidates.

Jobseeker Profile Marketplace Lands $4M
Boomband, an AI-native talent marketplace founded by Monster.com creator and entrepreneur Jeff Taylor, today announced Boomband’s upcoming launch and the closing of a $4.0 million seed round led by Boston Seed with participation from other New England VC’s.
