Digital media company Citrus Peak LLC has launched Jobs in CLT, a local job board built specifically for the Charlotte metro area. The site is free for job seekers, with no paywall or account required to browse openings.
Most mainstream job platforms rely on automated aggregators that pull listings from across the web without checking if the jobs still exist. This results in dead links, duplicate posts, and listings for roles filled months earlier. Jobs in CLT handles listings manually. Every role added to the board is checked by a person to verify that the position is open and the employer is local.
“Finding a job locally has gotten harder because the sites people use are full of zombie postings,” said Steve Hunter, founder of Citrus Peak. “You apply for three jobs in an afternoon and later discover two of them closed in the spring. We built this to cut through that noise.”
Jobs in CLT also sends a weekly email of newly vetted openings and who’s actually hiring. Candidates can view listings and join the weekly list at jobsinclt.com. Charlotte employers can submit open roles directly through the site. It appears tro be custom built.

Jeff Taylor (founder of Monster) flips the script with his new AI-native talent marketplace Boomband which has now expanded to all six New England states.
Now open to 8 million workers and 300,000 companies in Boston, Cambridge, Worcester, Springfield, Nashua, Manchester, Burlington, Portland, Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport, Providence, and Warwick, Boomband connects people and opportunity through a real-time discovery engine called the Arena.
“In a roundabout way, I helped build the system that is now breaking hiring, ” said Jeff Taylor, Founder and CEO of Boomband . “With Monster.com, we took the Help Wanted section from the newspaper to the internet. What I didn’t see coming was how successful that would be at increasing the volume of applicants, overwhelming every system. Now overlay AI on top of that broken foundation, and you have a full collapse. “
Boomband is a talent marketplace and talent intelligence in one platform. It does not replace an ATS or an HRIS. Those hold the records. Boomband flips the script in understanding the talent more broadly.
Seekers (Players in our world) can start as guests and step into the Arena with no commitment required – filter for on-site, hybrid, or remote work; sort by salary, industry, or commute; browse even when not actively looking.
Inside the Arena, matching runs on meaning and alignment rather than keywords, and it runs in every direction. A role can find a person, a person can find a role, a person can find another person, and a role can find the roles like it.
AI hiring marketplace Jack & Jill has raised $40 million in a Series A funding round led by Air Street Capital—with participation from Madrona, Antler, Creandum, and others—bringing its total funding to $60 million to fuel its ongoing U.S. expansion. Founded in March 2025 by Matt Wilson and Saaras Mehan, the platform replaces traditional job applications, résumés, and automated spam with dual AI agents: “Jack,” which acts as a personalized career coach learning a candidate’s nuanced preferences through in-depth conversations, and “Jill,” which vets company needs to match roles directly with hiring decision-makers.
Having grown to roughly 350,000 job seekers, 5,000 employer partners (such as Ramp and Attio), and facilitating over 25,000 interviews to date, the company plans to use the capital to scale its network and advance its vision of continuous, agent-brokered employment matching.
HireSA, a direct-hire remote talent marketplace, today announced its public launch. The platform connects companies in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia with South African remote talent. South Africa is one of the fastest-growing hotspots for offshore talent, with its English fluency and competitive cost. HireSA is available now at hiresa.com.
HireSA is built for companies that need operators, not task-based virtual assistants. These are the people who run a business day to day: sales closers, marketing managers, chiefs of staff, executive assistants, account managers, and customer success leads who can own outcomes.
Employers have two ways to hire. They can post a job on the self-serve board and run the process themselves, using AI Match to shortlist candidates in a fraction of the usual time. Or they can hand the search to HireSA’s white-glove recruiting service for a separate service fee. Either way, there are no ongoing agency fees, and employers work with candidates directly.
